You have 30 days from the date that you submitted your Preferred Placement® form to select a lender from the lending companies who have provided an approval. If after 30 days you have not made a decision to select a lender, all approvals will be deleted from your secure "My Account" web page. If your approval does expire, you will need to resubmit your Preferred Placement form. Be sure that all information is updated and correct before you submit - log on to "My Account" to update and resubmit your form.
If you do reapply, it is important to note that your credit history may have changed even in a matter of weeks, which could cause your rate to change. A credit history is a record of an individual's open fully repaid and unpaid debts; it helps a lender to determine whether a potential borrower has a history of repaying debts in a timely manner.
